Martin Fenner

Chief Technology Officer and Founder

After graduating from University of Alabama Huntsville, Mr. Fenner started Marner Micro Technologies, Inc in March 1991 and has served as its President and CEO since its inception. Marner Micro's first product line was a ruggedized version of the SPARC 2, priced at around 30 to 40 percent below Sun retail pricing. Initial customers included OEM's wanted to enhance their own unique product lines. As the business expanded, Marner leveraged the growth of Internet to expand customized SPARC platform sales. During this period, Marner Micro developed a blue chip customer list that included: USWest (now Qwest), Charter Cable, E-Trade; US Army, US Navy and McMurdo Science Station in Antarctica, eventually growing Marner to peak of over $12 million in revenue. Marner Micro continues to design and sell custom SPARC technology solutions for the US Navy, the Armed Forces and various other Government agencies and is presently in its third year of production on a 5-year Navy contract for the NAVSSI program which provided ruggedized high end systems for 60 Mine-sweeper boats, 2 Aircraft carriers and a Destroyer. In September of 2005, Mr. Fenner founded Marner Storage Technologies, an independent company to commercialize a new line of state of the art data storage products. Mr. Fenner received his MS in Computer Science from University of Alabama, Huntsville 1990 and completed a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Muttenz, Switzerland 1987. He also attended English as a second language school in Toronto, Canada
